Fondation Suzanne Bastien

The Fondation Suzanne Bastien Contemporary Art Gallery hosts inspiring exhibitions based on themes that spark creativity. Most artworks are created by Ni-Vanuatu and local artists. Individual artists living in Vanuatu are welcome to take part in any upcoming exhibition.

Explore the gallery’s beautiful gardens and coastline with a guided tour. See trees and plants organized into four zones: Forest, Seashore, Ornamental Garden, and Food Garden. Group visits only (minimum 5 visitors). Fee: VT 500 per person.

Relax and feel grounded with a yoga class in the heart of the gallery, led by chiropractor and wellness expert Dr. Paul Kratka. Yoga meets art in this serene tropical space.

• Weekly sessions: Thursday 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm | Saturday 8:30 am – 10:00 am
• Cost: 1500 VT (Expatriates) / 1000 VT (Ni-Vanuatu)
  No booking required. Bring your own yoga mat or use one provided by the gallery.

The gallery is home to Vanuatu’s national treasure, Patrice Cujo’s “Maps Blong Vanuatu,” and supports contemporary artists in a country with limited arts funding. Your donation helps us:

• Develop a gallery/artist co-operative for materials and studio access
• Provide artists with high-quality materials and workshops
• Improve the gallery display for Patrice Cujo’s world-class “Maps Blong Vanuatu”
• Create a botanical tour of the property’s 3 hectares
